FIRST ASCENT: Return To Antarctica Video

In January, 2011, First Ascent guides Peter Whittaker, Ed Viesturs, Seth Waterfall, Caroline George, Jake Norton, cinematographer Kent Harvey and their clients departed for Antarctica for a 45th anniversary climb to commemorate the 1966 first ascent of Vinson Massif, which was outfitted by Eddie Bauer. After the successful summit of Vinson, half the team departed and the other half stayed behind to make some first ski descents on some of the other untouched peaks of Antarctica.
